#1. Winnebago Industries is the #1 selling motorhome manufacturer with the highest reputation for quality. (Winnebago has earned the "Best In Customer Satisfaction" Award from J.D.Power & Associates 11 years in a row.

#2 . Great Alaskan Holidays does not buy from a host of manufacturer's searching out the best bargains without concern for our rental clients. We buy only Chalet Motorhomes from Winnebago Industries that have been custom built to our specifications . They are more expensive.

The Chalet by Winnebago Industries costs more because it is worth more with better construction and higher quality components than their competition. This does not cost you anything extra at Great Alaskan Holidays.

#3. Our floorplans are standardized meaning the motorhome floorplan you see in our literature and on our web site is the floor plan you receive. With other rental companies you do not know what floorplan you are going to receive until you pick up the motorhome.

#4. Our motorhome fleet is young. For the 2010 season, no motorhome is older than a 2009 model. We retire them from rental service after one, two, or three seasons. We GUARANTEE our motorhomes' registration is 2009 or newer or your rental is FREE. Ask any other rental company if they make the same guarantee. Also, we never use “Modular” motorhomes where a new chassis has been bolted under a worn out old coach to save money. Some rental companies claim in their advertising to have 2009 or newer motorhomes but they also have "older" motorhomes with many more miles and abuse that you may be given when you arrive for your vacation.

*We have documented mileage of 113,000 miles on one of these older motorhomes. Also, many rental motorhomes retired from rental service have as much as 130,000 miles.
